Originally opening in 1914, Happyland Theater had been a thriving and important neighborhood cinema for over four decades when it closed in 1957. Since it's soft reopening in late 2015 it has hosted countless exhibitions, workshops, and events, and continues to be a hub for artists and art enthusiasts alike

As New Orleans' premier music listening room, atmospheric art gallery, community engagement hall, etc., the longevity of the building is a top priority and essential to continuing our presentations. Many improvements to our patrons' comfort and amenities are coming
